Tresstle Terms & Conditions

By using Tresstle you are agreeing to our terms and conditions, and the privacy policy, data protection and transactional terms and conditions on the Tresstle platform. See policies for more information. Tresstle may update terms & conditions from time to time and any aspect of their service agreement so please feel free to check these regularly.

Access to the Tresstle Website is for use in an appropriate way to source items and browse markets around the UK. If at any point we feel the Site is being used inappropriately we reserve the right to prohibit the use of our Site without notice and furthermore disable any account. We will not be liable if for any reason any of the services are unavailable at any time or for any period.

Any information provided to us by you will be stored and processed in accordance with our privacy policy. By providing any such personal data or other information you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy. When you create an account with us, keep your login details safe and do not disclose to a third party.

When using our online market, all transactions are carried out directly with the seller and are not processed through our website.

Transactional Terms & Conditions

Payment

All participant billing is through the Stripe payment gateway. We do not store any banking details and do not have access to them.

Payment for an event to the event organiser is under the event organiser’s terms & conditions. However, event admin fees will be deducted from the payment to the event organiser, and these are non-refundable.

Cancelling your event

Your right to cancel

You may cancel your participation in an event at any time.

If you cancel before payment please inform the event organiser and then proceed to delete the related order from the ‘My orders’ tab on Tresstle.

If you wish to cancel after payment, please inform the event organiser of your cancellation. Refunds are subject to event organiser discretion, as are rebates and whether they will be offered in relation to unused services, including event participation.

Refunds are not given for the event admin fee which form part of the payment from Tresstle.

How we may use your images & social media tags

“We” (event organisers) may use the images and social media links provided by “You” on the Tresstle website for advertising purposes only. 

Uploading content to the Tresstle website  

Whenever you make use of a feature that allows you to upload content to the Tresstle website, or to make contact with other users of our Site, you must comply with the content standards set out in our Acceptable Use Policy.

You warrant that any such contribution does comply with those standards, and you will be liable to us and indemnify us for any breach of that warranty. This means you will be responsible for any loss or damage we suffer as a result of your breach of this warranty.

Any content you upload to their Site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. You retain all of your ownership rights in your content, but you grant to us a limited licence to use, store and copy that content and to distribute and make it available to third parties.

Copyright/links/virus/hacking:

You may share links to the Site but this may only be in a fair and legal manner. 

All content on the Site is copyright by Tresstle or the respective Member. You may not copy in whole, or in part, content shown on the site.

You must not make claims to be associated with our Site, other than as a Member. Events hosted on Tresstle are not classed as being ‘in association with Tresstle’ unless specified by us that this is the case.

Any attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the server on which the Site is stored, computer or database connected to the Site will be reported as a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.
